What Our Patrons Thought of All in the Timing
“An Eclectic, Thought-Provoking Night of Theatre”

Thank you to everyone who came out to experience All in the Timing by David Ives. This unique collection of one-act comedies sparked a wide range of reactions and conversations—exactly the kind of artistic engagement community theatre is meant to inspire.
From the outset, we knew that this show would be a departure from the traditional fare our patrons have come to expect. One patron noted, “It was one of the more eclectic shows I have seen at Thorold Community Theatre, but I enjoyed the jokes and that it made me think.” Another shared, “For shorter plays, I was surprised how funny and amazing [they were]… the language play was incredibly impressive.”
The cast and crew were especially praised: “The actors acted their hearts out! They did well with the content they had.” And perhaps most meaningfully: “You had some great actors up on stage and a very dedicated crew. I take my hat off to all involved!”
We are grateful for the honest feedback about the venue, and we acknowledge the challenges of working in a non-traditional theatre space like the Port Robinson Community Hall. Yet, as one patron shared, “You did the best with what you had,” and we remain proud of what our team achieved under these conditions.
Our aim is to continue growing as a company—artistically, logistically, and communally. All in the Timing was an important step toward that. Thank you for coming along for the journey. Let’s keep the conversation going.
